CONVERT ORACLE 12c STANDALONE DATABASE TO ORACLE 12c RAC DATABASE
In this article we have Oracle 12c Single Standalone Database running on SERVER [SHOMAC1] and will be converted it into 2 Node 12c RAC Database running on SERVER [19cRACNODE1/2].
In our test environment, Oracle 12c Single standalone Database is running on file system (non ASM) and 12c RAC Database is running on Automatic storage management (ASM) as shared storage.
We will perform this activity in 2 phases
- PHASE 1 – Restore 12c standalone non-ASM database to RAC Database.
